My name is Jim Hall and I'm a pastor who is currently working with House of Prayer Edmonton.  I've been involved with corporate intercession in Edmonton for over 10 years.

I got hooked on prayer back in 1991 at a special event at Zion Baptist Church.  There was a guest speaker who spoke about the revivals in church history and how every one of them was preceded by a group of people praying for God's Spirit to move in their area. That night God put His finger on me and called me to devote myself to prayer and intercession.

I began vocational ministry at Central Baptist Church in 1996 and it was during that time that the Lord began to stir in me a desire to see a night and day House of Prayer established in Edmonton.  In 2002 I planted a church called The Canopy Christian Community, and it was at The Canopy that the House of Prayer Edmonton (HoPE) began in October 2003.

In 2009 I transitioned to working full time with House of Prayer Edmonton.

I am married to Pamela, and we have 2 wonderful and beautiful children, Rebekah and Josiah.
