Quote for the Week

The chief cause of failure and unhappiness is trading what you want the most for what you want now.  - Zig Ziglar

I came across this quote on Twitter this morning and I instantly loved it because it speaks powerfully to the ministry of intercession and the House of Prayer. (btw, if you are on Twitter, be sure to follow @ThomScott, oh and @JimHall73)

This kind of focus in life is what propels us forward in the ministry of prayer. It is a clear belief in, and a continual hunger for more of God; both in our individual lives and in the lives of those around us and in the world.

A similar quote from my favorite teacher, Mike Bickle, about the nature of the Kingdom of God is "If you can live without it, you will go without it."

Q1: What are most hungry for in the Kingdom of God today?

Q2: Where does prayer factor into your schedule this week?
