So Much Going On....

Print Article Lately I'm finding that there is so much happening related to House of Prayer that it's taking an amazing amount of time to communicate with people, just to keep them up to date. It's a fun problem to have! Take today for example: I met with one of our main leaders and there was so much to talk about that it took 3 hours! Granted there was some important planning within that time but still!
One of the things I've been sensing from the Lord is to not allow all the exciting developments and possibilities to become a distraction to the main substance of my calling, which is to minister in the prayer room each day.
We have to learn how to live in the swirl of divinely orchestrated activity and stay rooted and grounded in the day to day responsibilities of maintaining a sanctuary of worship and intercession. In Ezekiel 44, God commends the priests of Zadok because they were faithful in their responsibilities in maintaining the sanctuary of the Lord. Very often we can get so pumped up by God's activity that we get distracted and begin to neglect the foundational elements of the assignment that God has given to us.
I feel like this is a training ground for us at House of Prayer Edmonton! Training us to be faithful in the days of small beginnings and swirls of divine activity.
May we all be found faithful!
